Booster/MC question
hey guys, i got a quick question about my brake master cylinder/booster. quick background, its my first time doing this and i dont have anyone who knows what theyre doing helping me out, just my haynes manual. anyway, i'm replacing my MC and after bench bleeding, i reinstalled the MC on the booster and tightened the brake lines, thinking i was on the home stretch with just bleeding left to go. so i hop in the car and when i depressed the pedal to see what kind of pressure i had and the first thing i hear is a hiss; it sounds like theres no seal on the booster. there is a rubber seal around the push rod (?) coming out of the booster, but nothing else. my question is, is there a gasket between the MC and the booster that im missing, or something stupid that ive forgotten? im sure i havent explained it all here and im sorry for being long winded, but im new to hondas and id love to be able to drive my car again
thanks for reading if you made it this far. -Justin
btw ive got a 90 dx hatch

Follow the touble shooting section in the Haynes and determine if it's the booster. The only bad "hissing" I know of that you can get from the booster is when you have a vacuum leak with the car started.
You can also use this manual if you don't trust the one in the Haynes (junky book).

It's for the CRX, but will work for civics just the same.
