i found this car for sale that this guy is selling in a 90 hf crx, hes got a b16a1 obd0 motor in their and its running. he said he's vacumm lines are all messed up but it runs and drives. he said when you drive it, it feels like its missing but its not. my question is what should i look for on a sloppy swap. and pics of your crx's with b16's in them and vacumm diagram so i can put it back togather correctly.

Its an 89 CRX Si with b16a swap.

 

do a search here for b16 vacum diagrams (one was posted a day or two ago) compare that diagram with his.

did he do the swap. have him tell you details. if a shop did it see if you can contact them.

if he paid for good mounts hopefully he did the swap right. check the brand of mounts there are alot of home made kits out there. ask about linkage did he use new ones (ie hasport) or did he custom fab teg ones?

check plugs other tune up items if he didnt keep that kind of stuff up he probally didn't do things right in the 1st place.

if your unsure have somebody that is check it out.

lastly tell him to fix it and you can pay a little more.
