does anyone know if top gear did a test on the integra type r and if so then where is the video ive looked everywhere for it but i havent found it...so if anyone know post up the link i bet ill be an insane video

 

I top gear tested mine and hit 142. Remind me to take a video camera next time I do it.

you won't be doing that anytime soon with the engine that is in there.....NO WAY A TYPE cxR can do 142....even down hill!

She did hit 100 the other day. I was so surprised I almost **** myself.

top gear is a car show on TV in britain. I've seen them do the new civic type R and new NSX type R but not sure if they ever did an ITR.

 

I've had most of the topgear vids and the only one that I really have from them is the new ctr and the nsxr vid....... PM me if you want...

 

i did 148 going up I 85 and it was smooth.

 

hes not talking about TOP SPEED, hes talking about TOP GEAR.

all you TOP SPEED ****** need to wake the **** up and realize the ITR is slow on the TOP END. In case you didnt realize, it has about as much torque as a lawn mower on the top end(unless boosted of course) and takes FOREVER to get to TOP SPEED. Go to Europe and check out the cars on the autobahns, THOSE are cars that are fast and MADE FOR high speeds.

Agreed, up to about 100 its fairly quick but after that it takes forever to climb... thats what 1.8 liters gets you

 

I haven't found a TopGear video-test with the Integra Type R.. I have searched for a test like that myself earlier... BUT they have a road test of it on their web-pages:

I dunno as far as British magazines go I think EVO has really spoiled me, I can't seem to get into Top Gear or Car anymore

It is easy to get spoiled if you read EVO at a regular basis - EVO is the #1 Car-magazine compared too any other magazine IMO

Yep it's my favorite too, it's just that their writers totally get it. Know what I mean?

 

Yes I absolutey get your point. They must love what they do - "the thrill of driving" - the experience and feel they get are well described in the magazine - almost like you are part of the story yourself. Good technical info, and the articles makes u wanna get out and drive

EVO got very talented writers, great photos and high quality finish product (paper, printing etc.).
