Default MSD 7AL on JDM H22... HELP!!!!

Ive been trying now for 2 night to get this MSD hooked up and working. But I think im doing something wrong.
Heres the situation and details...

Its a JDM H22 in a civic race car, no facotry gauges to worry about. Just cant get it to fire on the MSD,

I have followed the instructions on MSDignition.com and the wirring diagram for Honda with internal coil. We have a external coil, but we would be happy to get it going usingthe internal one first.

I can get the car to start on its own distributor, seems im wirring something wrong, and I dont wanna blowu p the MSD unit.

can someone tell me how they hooked thiers up... I wanna get the car out for some test and tune passes this weekend.

ok here we go.
green extra wire from the distributor prelude plug goes to negative of the external coil.
power for coil comes from blk/yel wire from small plug of distributor which goes to both the distributor or msd box but remember that that blk/yel wire goes to the distributor also to power it
