when they start shedding and make a mess..oh..CAT converter...so its not normal for a cat to have a bad sulfur smell?

Hmm, when my car wasn't turboed and I still had the CAT on, it smelt like sulfur after turning the car off. I wonder if it was bad? Only had about 48,000 miles on it.
