another ls/vtec question....
i have factory oversized itr pistons for my ls/vtec setup, but i dont have any rods. i was wondering if i could use an aftermarket type of rod with my pistons... for example golden eagle or crower, or should i just go with factory ls rods and just get them shotpeened.....
thank you so much for the replies.

well either set of rods you choose your going to have to have them
shaved down on the wrist pin end just to fit the ITR piston. so its really
up to you, your gonna spend money getting it down either way so your choice
bro i say go forged or save money by going stock

thanks bro.... but i got another question. i priced stock ls rods brand new...and they ran me about 150-160. and shotpeening them would make it even more money, correct? i also priced golden eagle h beam rods and they would cost me about 370.... what would be a better choice?
thanks
i also heard that shotpeening rods makes them brittle and easier to break.....is that true?
thanks
