They shouldn't be all the expensive, being you can take all the parts off yourself and bring them to the shop for painting...

$300?

Guess it depends on the place.

Or you could get three cans of home depot black spray paint for $0.99 each.

anywhere from 500- 1000 is reasonable...

but then u gotta consider who is gonna take the bike apart?

and when it comes to paint jobs... unless u know for a fact the painter is gonna give u an excellent, good quality job.. ur usually gonna get what u pay for...

$300 for a solid color. I would not pay more than $500 unless the parts were damaged or I was getting airbrush work done.

i agree body work is gonna cost you. when you price it, tell them you will be bringing in the parts off the bike to get painted. Thats gonna save big $$$

For a 1 color basecoat clearcoat i do them for $400. That is all sikkens paint. For stuntbikes i do them cheaper. As i do way more stuntbikes. For your zx-6, me personaly, i think $450 would do it. Just because of the blue pearl. I know you have some damage, but bikes are so easy to fix. IMO.
