I saw a 98 CW ITR last night and asked the guy if he's interested in selling. He said probably as he's wanting to get WRX STI.

His car is stock with 75K miles. So what's a fair price to offer ?

 

a 98 type R with 70km is worth around $21-23k here in canada, just for reference

 

$14K if the car is in good shape

 

70 000 kms and 70000 miles is a whole different ball camp since its above 60k or 100 000 km's. Depending on condition and abuse its been threw a use 98 could go from anywhere in beetween 16 and 20k US. 20k being if he doesnt want to let it go at all and its mint, but might budge for mid 19k... some might sale to as high as 21k u$ if their's someone that wants it bad enuff and its been with service records. Just my opinion!

I bought a 97 w/ 90k for 13

 

And if you find someone willing to spend that much, I've got a 98 w/85K that I'll let go for $2K less

I want that Type R badly...especially in a Championship White...been thinking about it all last night. Hope the guy will deal soon as his car is clean and all stock. He said he don't race or x-cross and hardly hit VTEC . Will post pics if I get the car.

theres just not enough turnover for even moderators on this board to accurate state that these cars will never sell for 16,17,18,19,20k+.

it also depends on your locale.
