B18C5 into my 93 DX hatch.
I've completed the swap and got the motor running. It was in a 94 ex coupe before so i did not have to re-wire anything. When i wire up the vtec for this swap do i follow the same guidlines as a B16 would have? I am running the motor with a chipped p28 if that helps any. Thanks for any input.

yes, as far as wiring goes, you just follow the same OBD1 wiring procedure as if you were doing a B16A swap.
btw, what engine wire harness are you using?
If you were able to retain the B18C5 engine harness...kudos.. USE IT. If not, boo. I suggest you find a US OBD2 engine harness though. Doing this will save you time & $$$ on converting the B18C5's electronic parts to OBD1 spec (ie. distributor, injectors, alternator).
The P28 ecu (reprogrammed) will work just fine with your setup too.

yeah i was able to retain the stock r harness. way way easier then re-wiring the civic's harness. thanks for the info but for my last question, do u know a good source to find the wiring how too that i'm looking for. i have never had to run them and i was thinking about removing the pins from the ex shell and using them in the dx clips for a cleaner look. a good how too with some pics would be real helpful. thanks again for the info.
