Default Yay, or nay? toe out, or rear upper strut bar?

Awhile ago, I got an alignment, and decided to give the "1/8th toe out in front, 0 toe rear" set up a try. I liked it, turn in and steering response felt great even on regular back road driving. However, it proves to be a PITA when trying to drive straight on public roads, magnified greatly while at speed on the highway. The SLIGHTEST groove in the road, and my car gets pulled all over the place side to side. This is not fun, especially in the rain or trying to change lanes.

From what I understand, adding a rear upper strut bar with stock alignment specs, will sort of give the same steering feel to the car as the "toe out" alignment specs. I dont have a rear strut bar currently. If I put my alignment back to spec, and add the rear strut bar, will I still get that great feeling of steering response and turn in that I have with my current alignment set up? Im hoping it will be similar, it will make driving the car on public roads that much easier and not have to worry about all the grooves in the road throwing me all over the place.

No, it wont affect the turn-in.

I figured it was a st00pid question, but worth a shot since not much else is going on in here today.

My camber is close to spec. About -1.2 in front, and -.5 in the back.

My tires are shot to **** though. So maybe thats part of the cause. But its been like this for awhile so I figured that wasnt 100% of the problem.

:shrugs:

I like toe-out up front... 1/8" total here, and I do not have any tramlining or street driving issues at all.

what size tires are you running?

there is this one spot on the highway, its rediculous. In my R, if Im not holding on with both hands, itll toss me right out of the lane onto the shoulder lol. Yet, if I go through that same spot with my beater, I dont even notice it.
