Default Have you upgraded the "big three"

Apparently you have to replace:

1) Battery negative to chassis
2) Alternator to battery positive
3) Chassis to engine

Anybody have a picture of a dc2 under the hood? Anyone have experience doing this?

can't really tell...I only have two of my four amps in the car right now, so I have a very small load on my alternator as is.

I did it in preparation for a peak current draw of around 120A.

I upgraded the one from my valve cover to chassis to 4gauge, and my - to chassic to 4 gauge, havent touched the alternator one yet because its a lot of work

I have a 135amp alt and a yellow top so I think Ill be fine when I get my system running right

I replaced all the ground wires with 4ga except for the alternator wire, waiting 'till I replace the alternator, no performance difference, but a slight difference in the audio performance

Just thinking about it, would this really warrant an upgrade? With the car actually in motion, not to mention road noise, would you be able to tell a difference?
