just go with 2.25 and dont use a silencer in the muffler because it only takes power away from your car... just put a resonator in the piping and you should be good.

Hi,
sorry to be intruding ur thread here..but I was hoping to ask a somewhat similar question...

I have a 6th gen 4cyl accord...I want to run dual exhaust...

is it ok to run 2.5" from cat to axel and the axel back to mufflers is 2"? or would it be better to run 2.25" from cat back all the way to mufflers?

Thank you..

Don't waste your money or time. Duals are so ricey on a 4 cyl . They also take away power . Just get 2.5.

ERRRRRR

This is called a thread jack, if you have a question, start a new thread or better yet search .

As far as exhaust tubing, its been covered like 100 times in the past month, overall 2.25" is better for NA nad even 2.5" is still good for na. 3" is best for FI applications.

I have two and a quarter(2.25 for those of you that dont like math) and I dont have a resonator...As a result it is very raspy and at low rpms resonates and drives me crazy man....Id say either get a resonator put in the 2.25inch or get smaller piping

oh sorry I ride in my awesome 96 accord ex
