ls/vtec power drop off????

Default ls/vtec power drop off????

i can not decide if i am going to build my head before putting on my ls block. i will have gsr cams and compression is 11.3:1 with ls block.. people say i will loose power after 7300???..shouldnt i be able to make power till atleast 7800??.. i have arp rod bolts too. which doesnt make a diff.. thanks for the help

You need good flowing intake and exaust components. with out them your power band will suffer horribly. Due to the nature of the SLIGHTLY longer stroke of the ls crank, you will make more power lower but sacrfice more power up top. Youll make power up to how ever high your cam, head, intake, exaust components can take you.

everything is stock how high will gsr cams take me??

max power will be at 7,600
so i would shift at 7,600-8k
