Default Question about the Skunk2 valves.

Does anyone know if the Skunk2 valves with the S2 stamped on the bottom are the new series of valves, or are those the old ones. I have a set and don't know if they will mushroom when I get them in my head and run them with my stage 3 cams. Can anyone help?

The new valves are magnetic at the tip because the new style uses a waffer that is magnetic vs. the old style which had a stellite tip.

So the valves with the stellite tip will mushroom? And the valves with the magnetic tip will stick to a magnet, is that the way to check?
