Default Big Difference between ctr/pct and jdm itr pistons in a b18c1

hello again

i have been debating between these 2 pistons, and have come to the conclusion that jdm itr pistons would be best for me living in california

now my question is that is there a big noticable different between lets say, a motor with the itr pistons, and a motor with the ctr pistons

my old setup that i was planning to run was
b18c1
ctr std pistons
itr tranny
b16a2 head
portflow port & polish
skunk2 stage 2 cams valvespring/retainer
smsp header
hondata

with the itr pistons, i have no disire to run the stage 2 cams because i have been told that these cams love high compression, and with the itr slugs, they wont be able to run its ful potential, and also i will lose power on the lowend/mid

so i have been researching and came to the conclusion that i might want to run the rs cams

so my new setup, that i wish to have is
b18c1
jdm itr os pistons
itr tranny
b16a2 head
portflow port & polish
rs machine cams with portflow/itr valvesrping combe and portflow retainers
smsp header
hondata

now, with all that being said, will my old setup be a lot more powerful then the setup i am planning to run?
will there big a big differnce

i pla on daily driving the car, mostly from and to school and maybe a few cruising around once in a while
i dont plan on abusing this motor, but i do plan on driving it hard, once in a while

i also would love to take it to sac raceway and having a few run once or twice a month...when i am at thwe race way, the motor will be seeing 100 octane gas
will there be a big differnce between times i will get with these 2 setup, and will it be very noticeable

any information or if you want to chime in on your setup and, like what do you have and what times and hp did you pull, would be greatly appreciated.

also, i have been searching so please dont tell me to go search, i know there has been a million different threads about the ctr pistons and the itr pistons, but none of them as really answered my question

thank you for any helpful information, your help is greatly appreciated

best regards,
C

i know people will probly argue this with me but, i think you old way with the pct pistons would be better, i mean i know people that run ls block with ctr psitons and they are fine with just a lil mixed gas. and they use gsr heads, so with your gsr block and a b16 head, you should be fine. plus you are getting it tuned with hondata and not just using a chipped ecu. so you should go with the old set up, and the rs or skunk cams should be fine. make sure you have injectors too, other wise your set up wont be all that great.
