did any crx's come with black carpet???? for some reason i always thought they were grey ..... reason im asking is cause the carpet i have not looks greay from wear, but it looks like it used to be black .... the car is that blue metalic color with greay and black interior .... thanks for the help!!!!!

 

I'm pretty sure that they were grey not black.

I think any interior that was gray/black had a black carpet, basically anything that said "Charcoal" on the door jamb interior sticker. Well for sure my Rio Red exterior/Charcoal interior 91 Si had a black carpet. I've known people with Black and Yellow cars, and I believe their carpets where also black.

Actually come to think of it, isn't the only non-grey/black interior the blue from the non-CRX-Si White cars?

 

ok ..... so i just check the parts listings and i never even saw a listing for grey .... there whas just graphite black and blue ...................... so im guessin from all the pics ive seen is that since these are 14 year old cars we are talking about maybe theve just faded????

but then again why have i seen grey stock floor mats on ebay, but havent seen any black ones ... im confused

 

Yeah, the actual big carpet that covers the whole floor should be black/charcoal/graphite/whatever. I think some of the floor mats were black, but had two huge white sections on them. That probably makes them look grey when they get dirty or faded.

 

ok ... well on ebay i found a few of these ... cargo area carpet in black ... so im guessing that they did have black carpets at one point or another???
