Default New Paintjob

I know that shops vary, but for a good paintjob, what is a fair price to pay? I would just like to get an idea so that I don't spend more than I have to.

Thanks.

To do it right, meaning stripping the old paint, fixing any and all imperfections, engine bay, door jams, trunk compartment, etc... over 5K.

Make sure they prep it right or it will turn out bad. there is a reason that good colorchanges cost alot. Because of all the time that is invested.
