Default 5th gen header?

tried a search but that was a no go

i have a non vtec header but will it fit my vtec motor

the block is still the same right?

umm that mustve been one bad search youve done...

5th gen headers ARE interchangeable... always has always will be with same gen. cars.

and oh yea not including v6's.

i was just going buy the way i was seeing em forsale it was either ls /dx/se

and seperate part number for the ex

ull need to modify ur O2 sensor wire so it will reach the EX O2 sensor bung......thats it

Will work. Will need to shorten PHO2S wires to clean up engine bay, since the VTEC PHO2S is mounted to the secondary exhaust manifold runner.

Oh yeah by the way, the header mounts to the head, not the block.

so i just gotta shorten my wires for the o2 sensor. is it possible that i could screw this up

If you can solder, shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise just zip tie it all together.

On sort of the same topic, anyone know if the o2 sensors are interchangeable between VTEC and non-VTEC models?

i believe 02 sensors are universal.....but i could be wrong....ive never dealt with them first handidly
