opinion on Perelli p700z..gettin some for the crx
hell yea theyre good!
i was gonna buy some nittos for 50bucks each, but after all the stories of hydropaning and all i decided to get some pirellis, the same ones you're thinkin of gettin, theyre awesome, i cannot make em squeal at ALL go into 90degree corners at 50-60 and nothing they handle great, i love em, or maybe thats just me. i have a 91 civic hatch with those.

Dude, they are ok, but there are better tires if you spend a few more $$. For the price though, they can't be beat.
And don't buy a tire that says "Nitto" on it because they are all ****.

I had a set and I was not impressed- suck in the wet, didn't last long, sucked in the snow (duh), they didn't seem very sticky to me.mine were 205-45-16 on a 91 rex. Don't mean to discourage ya.
i live in sunny southern california, so no worries bout snow, i did drive em in the rain, but other than the period when the rain starts and all the oil and crap forms a layer, its pretty slick, that is until you wait 5 more minutes til it all washes away, but i had no poblems in the rain. For a few extra $$$ you can pick up the dunlops, hear those tires are great.
Well, if you want to go bougie tires, you should go with the new Bridgestone S-03's (they do come in 195/50 15). And if you wanna go el cheapo, I've heard good things about the Kumho Ecsta Supras (also in your size). I personally would go w/ the Kumho's over the Pirelli p700's (if you want to get something in the same price range). If you go Pirelli, you gotta go w/ the 9000's. Just my 2 cents (but I'm a newbie so that might count only 1 cent...if even that!).
