Default multi port injection swap

i was wondering if i could take a multi-port intake manifold and put it on my d15 with dual point injection. it seems to me that i would have to update my ecu. but maybe not. help me out if you guys know anything.

Search for MPFI in CRX/EF forums only.

Me personally I think the multi point swap is not worth it, unless you had a 1989-91 Honda Civic Si doner car. You will need a different head, new ECU, distributor,

Sorry, that would convert that D15 to an Si, which would be better in my opinion, but anyways . . .
For the money just swap out your motor for a B16 or something better than the D15.

you need a mpfi intake manifold, not a new head.

and to answer the posters question, yes you need a new ecu. crx si pm6 works fine.

this is the best writeup afaik:

You still need to do the MPFI conversion to run the B16 motor.
For about $100/$150 (you can probably find it for less if you search around) you can have a MPFI swap. That $100/$150 won't even come close to getting a set of mounts for the B16.

yeah, multi point swaps are stupid. don't waste you're time. nobody does that around here. seriouslah, it's not that hard but does take a little research and some work on the car. research it on here through the search as mentioned before and take your time you can find all the parts you need from people here. hell, i've an extra manifold and will have an ecu when i get mine from zdyne. pm me if you're interested in buying them. IT DOES MAKE QUITE A DIFFERENCE.

i would not say there not worth it , that is if you get your si head an dizzy ,manifold for free or like 50$ thats what i did an its fine for a everyday driver nothin fast. But if would be better to just save up for a better motor. But look on the bright side if you do the mpfi swap you will have the harness an ecu ready for another swap

yup....it makes a d15 scream, especially if you do all the bolt on's at the same time like we did for a buddy of ours a few weeks ago. si tranny, Lightweight flywheel, clutch, intake, header, and exhaust and MPFI swap. NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENCE. its probably a low 15 second car now. easily.
