Well i haven't posted here much but learned alot. I was hopeing to continue with my project car and soon do a swap but i guess things changed. I got the car stock and in prefect shape inside and out in november. Just put in h&r race springs, agx shocks, all new stereo, invidia catback within the month. Haven't even got to put em to the test. And out of the blue, yesterday(day after my 21st b day) i was waiting to make a left onto my street and got plowed into from behind by an '02 dodge durango driven by some high schoolers. Just got the evaulation by the insurance today and its being totalled. Ill miss her alot. This is my first honda and i must say the crx is one great car loved it for the short time we were together. And to add insult to injury i got my brembo rotors and axiss pads today. Oh yea and hte kid who hit me lucked out and didnt even get a ticket cuz the police officer present was out of his jurisdiction.

well it looks bad but not really. Good thing it was a suv and it hit you up high. You'll def need a hatch but the quarter panels look fixable. Not sure about the rear body panel since the hatch is closed.

Hey I have some rear stock crx si lights for sale. 35.00 They're in pretty good condition.
I also have rear quarter panels that are in great condition in black. Hit me up. Let me know if you need anything like interior wise too. I also have a mint condition stock rear bumper too and rear support bar. I'm parting out a crx si 1989.

the damage doesn't look TOO bad....pull the rear bumper and hatch off and see what you can do with her....might be fixable!

damn, i went crazy when someone accidently cracked my rear passenger side turn signal, if that happened to me, i would of gone nuts!! im real picky when it comes to nicks and scratches. i know the feeling you had when that happened, i feel ya mang!!

 

IF I was in your shoes: BUY a HF hatch,HF rear bumper, CR-X tail lights,and get it repainted. The sides don't look to bad. Either way, good luck with what ever you plan to do. &lt;allways help

Ill do the same, from what I could see the rear quarter panels are fixable but who knows what damage is underneath

i would track the high schoolers down at thier mommas house and scream at momma and poppa and let them know that you are filing a civil suit against junior and they had better pay up. it worked for me... i would wait about 6-7 months and i would go to the hobby lobby and get some glass etching cream (about 5 bucks) and steal the window squegee from Apu down at the kwickee-mart and have a go at EVERY vehicle in the driveway and the whole house. screw them.... thier kid is a dumbass and ruined your ride. get EVERY window that you can. its silent and deadly. screw thier insurace rates. they suck and so does thier kid. i have been thrown in jail for picking people up by the neck after an accident. its fun to let them know that some people take thier ride PERSONALLY like it is thier kid or something. do NOT let these dumb asses off with out making them pay!!! they cost you and now you get to repay them for all of the heartache and bus rides you have had to endure. i would reccomend a full set of the "get even" books on amazon.com screw them, thier monnas and thier daddys. "junior" gets a free ride through life because he is just young and stupid? i dont agree. i ran into a parked car when i was 17 in iowa and i still have a scar over my right eye from the disgruntled owner. (he was 55) if you are big and strong enough, pick young junior up by his-her neck (girls get to be stupid and ruin somebody else's life just because they are girly-girls and not suffer a few bruises to the upper body just because they are girls?) i disagree. treat everybody equally. a bust to the chops is just what they need. i ALWAYS keep a 50 cent roll of pennies in the coin tray just for these morons. get up next to them, honk your horn and give them something to remember. and if thier father/boyfriend/brother wants to get into it, get the ol' aluminum bat out. let them know that some people are willing to satnd up for what they believe in and stand up for thier personal property, what they have invested thier love and time into. i am not pat tillman. but i did serve 8 years in my beloved marine corps. it was enough.

RIGHT listen to this guy...the car needs a new bumper, tails and hatch and the rear quarter can be fixed...Im SURE u can get this fixed if u want, i would. DOnt let the insurance company try to give u **** cuz its an old car, bitch and complain thats what i would o cuz the car is fixable for sure
