Still waiting on the tires but here's part one and two...

16" Rota Circuit 8's. I was gonna get Volk's but everywhere I called for the models I wanted were out of stock... that and Type X is right, why bend a $500 rim on these Jersey roads!

They weigh in at 13.5 pounds when the rim is centered on the scale. I figured that would be way better than bending up an expensive Volk. The gunmetal portion is nicely done and the lip is highly polished. I'll probably sand down the center caps and paint them the same color as the gunmetal

The tires come on Friday Got the Gorilla Nuts yesterday...




I think they'll match my cf hood and ctr headlights nicely... (ps- the front end of my car was on jack-stands in this pic )

Topics like these usually end up nothing more than a show-off bling bling crapfest, and it clutters the forum. If you have some tech to go with the pictures then by all means, but pics of wheels, tires, exhausts, etc. don't really have much tech that can acompany them. If you can explain more about the parts and tell us all how they affected your driving experiences then by all means please help the rest of us, but bragging-type topics suck for everyone.

These topics will be looked at in a case-by case manner, but generally speaking they will either get locked or moved to the Appearance/Cosmetic Forum.

if you call weighing a wheel on a grossly inaccurate scale then i guess so but i don't

 

i'll give you my 17"s and tires for your si wheels.

btw, nice choice in wheels. i'm going with slipstreams in the future.

isn't it good to bring to the original poster's attention what is wrong? assuming it was an honest mistake. i know i would like to know why a post of mine got moved.

it certainly is, but it is not necessary for 5 people to say the same thing and then have a debate over whether or not it is an acceptable thread.

 

good choice i have the same rotas but in 15's i love them
