FS: 1997 ITR tranny with ATS 4.9 final drive -perfect condition-
actually I'm NOT gonna sell it.
I drove the car again yesterday and it was so much fun that I'm never giving this tranny up.

Thinking about selling this tranny.... even though this is the Best mod Ive done to the car, EVER.
But, times are tough, money is tight and Im gonna detune my Civic Hybrid since car-theft in my area is almost definite... yes, I'm scared to lose it all... and I might just build a V8-RX7.
Anyhow, down to business...
This is a JDM ITR tranny that I picked up in Toronto from a friend off eg6ajk's.
Then I bought an ATS 4.9 FD from RagingAngel.
Bought the needed JDM (98+ tranny) Honda parts from Yasu at ATS-USA.
-I did the install and it was easy, no problems at all. I checked the internals for wear or any damage and it all checks out A-O.K.
-This tranny still has the stock ITR LSD and this tranny needs nothing and is in excellent condition.
-Used the tranny for over a year in my Hybrid and it still fawkin RULES!
-Its smooth as silk, pulls hard as hell and it transformed my mildly built GSR swap into a BEAST of a motor compared to my previous tranny (a GSR with ITR LSD).
-Heh, its still in my car, I'm not taking this out until I see some greeeeeeeen.

So it's a 97 tranny, then you used it for about year. Any idea at all how many miles on it? Did you see any documentation to the mileage when you bought it?
yeah its a '97.
I bought it in early 2003, but got no documentation when I bought it.. the seller was supposed to bring his receipt from the importer but never did, then he just blew me off once he got paid. nice
but its a beauty of a tranny, when I instlled the ATS FD I checked out all of the synchros and the shift interlock piece, etc and there was no wear on anything, so I was more than satisfied that it was a super low mileage tranny or it hadnt seen any abuse.
Last year I only drove 5k miles and didnt do much autocrossing, plus I didnt do any trackschools either so the tranny has been even more babied in my care.
There is no reason this tranny couldnt go head to head with any tranny brand new from acura and be in the same condition. seriously its mint.

I want it very badly just with the 4.78FD. What about 1100 for tranny and you keep the ATS FD and Ill send you a JDM one to install.
