aboslute best price on a itr trans
does anybody know how much a new trans is, like the hook up price, that you guys say i can get from len, im goin to call him in the morning but i want to get an idea of how much tonight
to be perfectly honest i dont believe u can buy a brand new itr tranny anymore. I really hope im mistaken but i belive i read/heard that some time ago.
I know u can piece one together, but im not sure if you can still buy one complete and brand new. If you can you'll be looking at 1300+

No doubt.
You're willing to dish out money for a new tranny over a synchro issue?

no i didnt know how much a new one was, i was hearing like 1400 from a couple people, cuz i got quoted like 1000 bucks to do syncros,
and how hard is it to do syncros yourself, like what skill level, me and my friend might be able to do hes better with motors than i am and im not to bad, can it be done with basic tools, just for reference weve done a couple swaps, and hes done a trans swap and a couple clutch installs, im asking cuz like the syncro kit is only like 300 bucks and i can def afford that

Get a helms manual, parts and gearpuller... parts shouldnt be too bad- the 2nd/3rd gearset is not that bad. Get your boy- a 12/36 pack (depending on how fast you drink) and you will be set. As long as you keep the tranny parts in order- (we used a broomstick/dowel) It is not hard at all. Pulling the tranny/ putting that heavy *** btch back on was the hardest part.
sweet dude i was hopein sombody whould say that, thats what i was thinkign that if i keep the gears and **** all in order it should just right back in in reverse order, also can i just get a gearpuller at a regular shop
anybody local wanna hook me up on an install of my syncro set, name your price( remeber im looking for a hookup) and ill supply as much beer and pizza as you can drink and eat
