JDM ITR Pistons and Rods in a GSR engine = Weekend Job w/out Pulling the Engine?
I'm planning on putting used JDM ITR pistons and rods into my 94 GSR. I'll be throwing in new piston rings and rod bearings at the same time, as well as crosshatching the cylinder walls w/that drill tool(don't know the name of it).
Should I be OK doing it this way?
This is my only car, and I am getting the piston/rods pretty cheap. Looking for the cheapest possible way to gain some ponies till a real rebuild.

what is your compression at right now? if its not good, you'll most likely need to bore the walls a little since your car is a 94. honing wont be enough. 81.25mm or 81.5mm. your choice.
I'm guessing its good, but don't really know. The car has 100k miles on the engine, but doesn't burn any oil and runs very strong. Not that it really means anything. but it trapped 97mph full weight with a skunk manifold and full exhaust, no tuning.
