headlight overheated

Default headlight overheated

welll it rained yesterday so at night I turned on the headlights so my passenger side is bulb is blown. Today I was goin to replace witha new one and I saw the glass of the old bulb freakin broke all inside the housing so I put a new bulb in but now it's still not wokring so I tried my highbeam and only the driver side is working so I could have a problem with the wiring on passenger side I checked all the fuses seems fine could anyone help me out on this one? Thanks

You didn't happen to touch the headlight bulb with your bare fingers? If so that's probably your problem right there, the oils from your fingers will start to boil on the glass of the bulb and eventually make it burn out. Other than that though I'm not sure what the reason could be, Good luck on figuring out the problem.
