my b16 will not rev past 7.2k it goes into vtec, has plenty of oil, there are no dents on the oil pan. as soon as it hit 7200 it just seems to hit a brick wall. what is going on with her?

 

What ECU? Is there a chance the tach is off?

 

its a pr3 ecu and the numbers were taken via a safc so i would bet that they are right on.

no code? did it ever rev over 7200? maybe you got an automatic ECU or sumthin i dunno..

but nice crx..i just got a fresh coat of y-49 myself and im lovin it.

 

cut the carpet out from under the pedal and then pound the floor pan down so the pedal will travel further down that should do it...

yeah.. the problem just seemed to happen overnight..... it just started not wanting to go over 7.2k one day i wanted to feel vtec and boost.

yo man i got a b16 in my rex and it dosent rev past 7400. it never has. its just because of your ecu its a pr3-just get it chipped to whatever redline you want it at
