Anybody that has yellow'd headlights READ!!!

looked up the DIY for clearing the yellow and it said to wetsand, buff, and wax.
I just painted my headlights black and polished the lense to make it clearer. Didn't think I could get it out. Was yellow'd really bad (barely see inside it).
Anyways, I tried some Meguire's Scratch X ,instead of wetsanding, that I had laying around and they're crystal clear now. Look factory. I got some pics but not up yet. I'll post them when I get them. Only about 4 coats and they were perfect. I might have had something to do w/ they we're still warm from baking them but, it worked.

you can also use mothers aluminum polish as well

I'll agree. I wetsanded mine with some 1500, then went over it with polishing compound on my orbital buffer and then waxed them. Worked like a charm.
