Default Rear brake drum problem

ok, my crx sat for about 6+ months. I think it had a leak somewhere because the MC just had thick muddy fluid the very bottom of it and no real fluid when I opened it. SO I took the MC off and cleaned it up real good and shiny. I just replaced the rear wheel cylinders because i broke them trying to get the bleeder screw off and it ended up just braking the bleeder screw in half. So I put new fluid in after I change the pads/shoes and then i go to try to bleed the rear brakes now and no fluid comes out, and no air either. But when i had the rear lines disconnected, fluid was dripping out and forming good sized puddles on the floor. The front brakes bleed fine....whats my problem and how do I fix it? Help! I havent driven my CRX in 6 months and this is the last thing I have to do.

Later,
Derek

It may take a while for the wheel cylinders to fill up with fluid and then for fluid to come out. I would keep pumping for a bit to see if fluid eventually comes out.

are you using a one way valve? if so you could try using a large vacuum pump on the nipple to draw the fluid out. pumping the pedal always works for me. or you could just open the nipple right up and leave it to drain for a while and let gravity work its magic
