Default Help with ball joints please

I have a 96 accord ex. I need new front upper and lower ball joints.

Can I get the upper ball joints pressed out of the control arm?

Do the lower ball joints have to be pressed out and pressed back in?

Are both upper and lower balljoints the same and interchangeable?

i don't know about the uper control arm but i know that in 4th generation accord u have to buy the whole uper arm.
the lower bolt joints have to be pressed out and pressed back in.
and u going to need a puller to get the wheel asambly out of that lower control arm(its a pain in the ***)
and no they are not the same.

I have a 94 accord and I just changed the upper ball joint. They only sell it (OEM) as a upper control arm with the ball joint pressed in. It's not recommend to try to press out the upper ball joint. Just buy a new upper control arm should be somewhere around $178 from Honda. The lower ball joint i believe has to be pressed out but i never actually changed it though. To change the upper is pretty easy don't let HONDA do it they charge an arm and a leg.
