The "Preferred" Service Manual
Well, I've purchased a 1990 CRX si and I've discovered some minor problems with the car. Seeing as how I don't want to spend too much more on the car (besides performance upgrades of course!), I've decided to become my own mechanic (or soon-to-be destroyer of my rex). Anyhow, I'd like to know your opinions on service manuals. I've heard of the basic three: Chilton's, Hayne's, and Helm's (ordered in alphabetical order to avoid any kind of statistical bias). Please let me know which manual I should get that will really help out a first-timer. Thanks!
well i have a chilton manual for my bird... they're really the only ones i've seen so i'm pretty biased... but they do have a lot of great info and pictures in them
