I've had both, but not for extended periods of time so I can't answer questions regarding longevity. However I did note that the Koni's felt more responsive to my particular style of driving. I felt a bit more confident pulling through a corner with the Koni's than I did with the KYB's. As far as typical daily driving, I noticed no major differences. If you're into autocross and road racing, then I'd suggest stepping up to the Koni's, otherwise the KYB's should be fine and will save you a considerable amount of cash.

More than likely. Without a good bit of track experience, it's doubtful that you'll push the car hard enough for it to make a difference. In your situation, I'd definately opt for the KYB's.

make sure you find out how long each brand lasts and the warrantees offered before you decide. A good search will help you there.

btw., i opted for the koni's.

bump

im in the same boat too, im tryin to find out what the difference is.. and this helped.. also knowing that my limited edition ground controls my cousin bought me for my graduation only let me accept kyb and gab and tokico shocks, so that shuts me out for koni's, unless i get different sleeves or something..

but im the same, sometimes ill take a corner at 40 and i handle good now on stock ish, but i want it tighter.

but im doing this to my 91 integra.. and someone told me that kyb only makes the agx's for the front of my car, and not the rear.. but he said i can go with the ones that are a step below, i think he said g-something i dont remember.. but is this true?
