need some help guys.... this guy who has a del sol with a sohc vtec d16, needs to replace his dc 4-2-1 headers. my hommie has a the stock header that he took off from his car, it was a DX. my question is.. would it fit perfectly? he needs to get his smog! and he told me that he needs the exact headr coz it has some serial num on it or sumthin...

 

yes. i have a SOHC VTEC (EX) header on my SOHC non-vtec (DX) block

As long as it isn't the header with the cat in the header, which I believe was the 96-98 DXs.
