just wanted to know what kind of bikes the smaller people are riding in this forum. i was lookin into getting one but seems that even the cbr600s are somewhat large (but preferable)to me. btw, im 5'3"-5'4" tall at 125lbs.

 

the seats on the 1000s are just as high as the 600s. I think if you shave the seat down a little you would be fine on one.

 

I'm not much bigger than you, and I have also found the bigger sportbikes to be a little uncomfortably large, especially for a first bike.

The only bikes that fit me really well are things like the Ninja 250, Ducati Monster 600, etc. Although I was more comfy on a 999S than I was on any of the Japanese literbikes.

 

and what do u have now?

 

A scooter.

I'm not kidding.

If I were to buy a bike, it would probably be a SV650, which still feels on the big side. I learned to ride on 125cc cruisers which felt very small.
