cd player compatability with an import honda
hi, im from india, and drive a 2003 Honda City. i was wondering, how different the stereo setups of US and foreign hondas are...
here are some pix, if you've never seen a city before
http://whatahonda.com/city/sty...1.asp
and this is the stock stereo i currently have (the american equivalent):
http://iweb.alpine-usa.com/pls...in=10
i'd like to purchase a cd-player from here in the US and install it back home, but i'm not sure whether there would be power compatibility issues...
thanks in advance guys

Uhhhh... look at your first link. Now look at that radio realllllly closely. That's an Alpine radio not even trying to hide as anything else. It's got the detachable face and everything.
If you go with another alpine everything should just plug and mount right as it the "factory" sits now.
Oh one side note, with the tape deck in there it's not going to be the 60x4 alpine harness, but the other standard one I bet. Get any alpine that's not 60x4 and you should be fine.
