torn between precision sc61 or innovative sc61/gt35 killer
well im going to use my tax money to replace the sc61 that i dont have since UPS has lost it i suppose. anyways back to the point, i realyl like the sc61 but i came accross the innovative sc61/gt35 killer and am really interested in that as well. is there any one in here that has any experience with the 2 turbos and would be able to tell me how they fair against each other?
i really want to make the right choice seeing as basically whatever turbo i get now i will be basically paying twice for it since im out of luck with the other one for now.

sure why the hell not. caeto explain to me that turbo in terms of compared to sc61 lol such as lag, what HP it starts to lose its efficiency ?
i dont really care about bandwagons. i just wantthe best turbo i can get. i dont care if it is what everyone likes

i suppose i will just go with another sc61. i just felt that maybe there was something better out there that i could try.
i realy wanted top know if there was anyone out there though that had a innovative sc61/gt35 killa and had veb dynoed that could tell me at what PSI you made what power

i think it has something different on the exhaust wheel (the killer) and it has inconel wheels which help it handle heat better, if you do 4th and 5th gear pulls or a lot of highway cruising which can really heat up the turbo, then this one is probably better suited since it can take heat a little better. At least that's what Jeff(Boosted Hybrid) explained to me about it i'll try and see if i can find what he said to me
here it is:
"Inconel is just a steel with high nickel content. The only advantage of using inconel metal for the turbine wheel is that the turbine can handle higher heating loads. This is good if you are trying to obtain good gas mileage with a turbocharged car. Running a car at 15-16:1 under light load/cruising situation as with driving on the highway shoots egt's towards 1300-1400 degrees. In doing this you are placing a heavy thermal loading (alot of heat) on the turbine wheel, using inconel substantially increases the durability and longevity of the turbocharger under these operating conditions. So to answer you question inconel as a material has nothing to do with spool up times. It is used to create a more durable turbocharger and nothing more. " ~Boosted Hybrid

The dyno tune on that car was from System-7 here on h-t. he made 319 hp at 9 psi on stock motor with 91 octance pump gas.. street car daily driven. Thanks to Bubba built dyno tunning service@ TRACKMASTERS. Camp has dyno sheets and will post pics up shortly.
What is Honda-tech coming to? You post a thread hoping for a helpful answer but you get useless mind boggling information that has you even more confused than when you started or leaves you with the same question unanswered just hours later in some cases.
This is directed to no one in specific i think you know who you are
. nextel buddy asks for a comparison of the two turbos, and half of the people in here dick around about stuff that is irrelevant to the topic.
Did i do what i was just bitching about? Yes; why, the topic was covered and i felt that it was time that something was said about it. so what can we do to help this out (including me) put the bullshit in the general discussion section of this forum.

I think the SC61 is the best all around turbo for 375-550whp. I'm going to be switching back to either a gt35r or a sc61 from my pt67. It spools great and works very well from low to high boost. I made 414@14psi last year with the sc61 and 531@24 on race gas. My car was alot more fun to drive with the sc61 than it was with the 60-1 or pt67.
