From pictures it looks like a damned serious street tire. Should be good, and that size range is a nice mix, although they're crazy if they don't offer something low profile, wide, and 17". I know a lot of STX guys were eyeing this tire, wondering if there would be a 245/40-17.

if they offered a 245 series tire that i could shoehorn under the prelude i'd buy it in a second...
though of course, i'd need for it to be a 245/50/15.
driving on my azenis this weekend on a hot course made me realize that i'm way undertired.

I was doing some searching for information on Z212 and I found this forum.
Did some more searching and found on a Subaru forum that a Hankook employee has a set already!

this is the link to pics of his car with them on.
He has 225/45/17 i think
The tread pattern looks like the Advan Neovas and hopefully they will perform just as good or even better!
I can't wait to get my hands on them to try out!

After being given the link to that thread, I can't think of Hankook without that diploma popping in my head.

Anyone have these yet? They seem to be available at Discount Tire now http://www.discounttiredirect....mance
Yeah, 225/45-16 is definitely an interesting size for the newer Honduhs but still a little big for the pre-00 ones. I'd be happy to see somebody figure out how to make a 24" tire work on those things and make me look like an ***.

Hey, finally a good cheap sticky tire in a 204/45R16! I'm gonna buy a set for my canyon carving and street races!
(Just kidding about the street jackassery, but I am going to get a set!)
Thanks for the info Bad Monkey, I'm not real happy about my 16" tire selections available.

I'm ordering a set of 225/45/16 from Discount Tire tomorrow, they said it would take 4-5 business days after ordering to get to the store. I need them in time for my first autocross of the season on the 20th, I will let you guys know how it goes
Damn, i dunno but those are some massive grooves. Almost looks like half the contact area is lost to grooves...
For comparisons sake, take a look at the Z211 Kooks and an old A520 in the background...
