amsoil...what weight?

Default amsoil...what weight?

2000 JDM B18C-R....roughly has 20-25,000 mi....used for daily driving and tracked weekly...mostly drivin at high rpms...thinkin 5w-30 but dont want the motor to drink it up...10w-30 too thin? need a lil help choosing best all around weight. thanks

I've had success with AMSOil 5w30... Seems thicker than "regular" 5w30's (i.e. Mobil1). Surprisingly, I didn't burn any this weekend at the track... I burned a minute amount last time at the track, something like 1/10 or 1/5 of a quart at most, however the oil was older last time... nothing daily driven though.
