what modification do i have to do specifically if i was to put in the JDM 88-91 Sir headlights with the corner lights? i want to know what mods i have to do before i get it.. also there is a 1 piece for 4dr 88-91 civic that is JDM as well.. i rather have the one piece.. but anyone know what type of mods i have to do in as cuttin ... cuz i want to see if i can do it myself..thanks

for the JDM SiR head lights you are going to need the SiR front bumper and JDM SiR hood to match up with the head lights. The JDM head lights are a little longer then the US ones so they will not fit with the US front bumper or hood. The JDM corners should fit just fine on your car and im not too sure but i think the JDM one-peice headlights are for the 4-doors. Im sure you could do some modifactions to fit them but they alos are a little longer then the US headlihgts that are on the HB.

yeah doing the front end conversion is kinda like getting a body kit... should you go WW body kit of JDM front end. its all up to what you like. Good luck with what ever you do.

 

make sure you know which jdm civic you're getting your lights from. the zc civics have the same length headlight so they will fit on your usdm car with your usdm hood. the SiR civic front end has a longer, skinny headlight, and those can not be used with your usdm hood (use the sir hood). the jdm one-bulb corners should fit onto the usdm fenders. you can use your usdm corners with the jdm front (zc or sir) and it'll be ok. as far as putting on the lights, you'll need the front radiator support so that you can mount the sir headlights. again, with the zc headlights, you don't need anything else other than the headlights...

in other words if you wanna use your ww bodykit, buy the zc headlights. if you wanna go jdm then buy the whole front clip (or what you can) of an sir. i'm doing this conversion sometime in january when i have the funds for a paint job...
