85 CRX needs cat - where to find one?
I just picked up an 85 CRX for a commuter but it has a nasty exaust leak and needs a new cat. Supposedly the leak is coming from the flange area where the cat and manifold meet. I tried eBay hoping to find a cheapy to no avail, it seems that finding them for the early CRX is rather difficult. Does anyone know of an inexpensive outlet for these? I may even try finding one at a yard, I'm infamous for being cheap when it comes to things like this, and this car is primarily just for commuting (although engine swaps are already dancing through my head).
So far I have at least found one for a California car (I guess they are different too and I do live in CA), for $263.
I haven't crawled under the car yet so I dont know what it looks like either. If relatively easy I would fashion one together myself, I know what the later version looks like, and I do have a welder so I could weld flanges on myself if it were a generic shape or similar to another or later model Honda.
Does anyone have a pic or simply know of a place I can get one for under $263?
Thanks

One estimate was about the same, $250.
I found another site with one for $164.28, it appears its different from the Si version which is about $90. The carb cat attaches right to the manifold, where the Si (EFI) version is more like the newer pipe setups.
