what modification do i have to do specifically if i was to put in the JDM 88-91 Sir headlights with the corner lights? i want to know what mods i have to do before i get it.. also there is a 1 piece for 4dr 88-91 civic that is JDM as well.. i rather have the one piece.. but anyone know what type of mods i have to do in as cuttin ... cuz i want to see if i can do it myself..thanks
Just so you know, they aren't SiR-only. 90-91 are the style I think you are talking about. I personally have some 89 headlights, which people call "ZC", but really they apply to any 88-89 Japanese CR-X. These are a straight bolt-in affair, with only a bit of wire splicing.

Notice the lack of two "side-by-side" housings, just one large one.

the sir headlights are longer and thinner u need the sir front bumer rad support and hood besides the lights corners are interchangeable
the front bumpers on the sir are differnt
the hatchback from the front see the lights are thinner and longer
the front bumpers on the sir are differnt
to fit the one-piece 4 door lights. i would find a 4 door civic corner light and cut the fender to fit that corner light. so you wont scratch the jdm units while attempting to mod the body. after that the jdm unit will fit.
