Need help w/ dvd car install.
Okay here's my problem. I have a PYLE dvd player and a View1 screen. The screen has 1 yellow video jack a power and ground wire. The DVD player has 3 cords coming out, 1 yellow which hooks to the DVD and the red and white one. My dilemma is I'm using my stock CD player in a 2000 civic si. How do I get the sound to the speakers from the DVD player. I bopught the install edge rf adapter but it only had 2 way. Then I bought the 4-way and it had 2 separte sets of rf's which I could only have sound in the front or the back. I went to an audio place and they told me that I needed a FM modulator. Any help on what I should do?
THANKS!!
THANKS!!
Okay there are 2 possible ways to do this:
1. FM modulator...it will take the rca audio signal from the dvd player
and broadcast it through the antenna..you just connect it inline with
your oem deck...cost $50-100.
2. If you radio has cd changer controls...there is an adaptor that allows
you to input the sound directly into the radio through its changer input.
Better sound but higher cost $ 100- up
there you go

Just get the FM mod., to human ears there wont be a difference. Hey, you already bought all the cheapest stuff, why start buying expensive parts. Its quite obvious that all you want is a tv in your car...you should have bought the pioneer avh-7500dvd it has it all, touch screen, biult in tv tuner, 13 band eq etc.
