i am making a custom manifold or my 90 prelude and i was wondering will it hurt perfomance or flat out wrong to set it up like the drag manifold they make for the 4th and 5th gen ludes. mine would look just like it but without the external flange. im doing this to clear the alternator

did you relocate your altenator, because it's on the intake side of the engine.

 

no all preludes has the alternator on the driver side.
