Default KEYLESS ENTRY

I have a 96 Accord EX, and it seems as thought I have an alarm (not sure if stock or not). The keyless entry I have almost broken and is from some company called Enforcer. 2 questions I have:

1) How do I program a new keyless entry? (see them on Ebay)

2) Will keyless entry open the trunk? (Enforcer one only opens/locks the doors)

These answers are for the factory remote entry openers, I don't know about the aftermarket stuff.

1. http://www.handa-accessories.c...G.pdf

2. If it's like the 6th generation, the fob will open the trunk if you have a trunk opener attachment (it replaces the trunk latch).

it pretty much a remote to trigger the powerlock in your car, if your car come with power lock, you could prettty much wire them to used in your remote.

i dont think there's a actuator for your trunk release latch so yeah

If the system has the word Enforcer written on it, most likely it is not stock. You will have to get the brand name fob for it to work. If you don't have a power trunk release button on your car, you can't pop the trunk with the fob unless you convert it to power. If you are unable to locate the keyless entry manufacture "Enforcer" you will have to install a new keyless system on you car. There are not that much. Most radio shops sell them for around $150 installed.

Or better yet, buy one off of ebay for $30 and install it yourself in 30 minutes. Hey, it's what I did, and it works well.
