My boyfriend has a civic si 1994 with a custom engine CRV B20 block with a B16 head and a greddy turbo. We were stop and idling when the car just died it started again after a couple of hours. It did this a few times before it stopped for good. We changed the ignition, tested the coil lots of spark, tested spark plugs NO spark. So we took apart the distributer changed the ICM igniter. Now the spark plugs have beutiful blue spark, car wont start. We dont think it is the timing because we have adjusted and readjusted, no cracks in the distributer we were very carefull to line everything back up. There is lots of gas lots of spark, could it be there is no compression? but if the pistion rings were shot then wouldn't I smell burning or see smoke. It sounds like it wants to start? have you had this problem in the past? Is it something simple we are not thinking of? Anyone who can help we are lost for idea's.
