i painted my rims this past weekend and when i went to put the clear coat on my one rim the paint started to spider. i let the rims sit for 24hrs it did get a bit colder but the paint should have dried. i sanded the clear coat and the paint off where it spidered at. after i sanded it i sprayed some paint on in and the paint spidered agian i dont know whats wrong with it. its only the one wheel and i dont know what to do. should i just sand the hole wheel agian and try to paint it agian??

 

painting rims is way too ricey, even for the guys who paint their stock side skirts mirrors and wiper blades.

just get them powdercoated man. they'll look a lot better and last forever
