BRAKES! peddle gose to the floor why?
like it says why dose it do this? my brake fluid has never dropped it hase been the same place from when i bought the car. and when i race a few times brakes get hot and gose to the floor why? and ho can i prevent this? any info can help. thanx
Either you have air in the lines, or your master cylinder has just taken a crap.
If you have not opened the lines lately, then it's probly the M/C.
You can loosen the nuts where it connects to the booster and look in the little hole, and if you see fluid, then replace the M/C.

if it only when happens when you "race" (and i fear to even ask what you mean by that) then its your fluid boiling. kinda makes sense that if your fluid has remained the same level then it means that you probably never changed your fluid, then its old and needs to be replaced with a full system flush. you dont need super expensie, fancy "race" fluid, you just need fresh off the shelf DOT 3. the performance of brake fluid decreases over time as it absorbs moisture, especially after youve already boiled your fluid once. any NEW brake fluid will be a dramatic improvement to what you probably have in your system now.
now if the pedal just sinks to the floor during stoplights when your keep your foot on the pedal at steady pressure, then its your MC that has an internal leak and needs to be replaced.

Flush your brake fluid and get some DOT4 if you do "racing" as it has a higher boiling point than DOT3. I use Castrol DOT4 and it has worked good for me.
[QUOTE=Tyson](and i fear to even ask what you mean by that) i mean streat race like more then 4 times my pedal sinks to the floor i guess that would make it my MC i'm check it out and get you guys posted thanx
