3rd gear grindin' Y-1 tranny
I've got a turbo '91 Si with Japanese B16A. Tranny grinds when going into 3rd gear.
Anyone got information getting new 3-4 gear synchro sleeve for Japanese Y-1 tranny (mine's from a '90 SiR) in the states? Or, anyone know if the parts from the USDM hydro tranny work? I know a guy in Japan that can hook me up for about $150 + shipping (new OEM). Is that a decent deal? Is anyone familiar with this issue?
