Default Accord wagon made in USA w/JDM

My accord wagon has a tag in the engine compartment that state "made in USA" but has an F22B1 sohc vtec engine. Does mean that I can bolt on all the USA stuff on to it ?.

So far I have installed a cool air intake system which appears to work good (some noise), super plug leads and now I'm about to lower the car (wagon) 1.8" using "Sprint springs & Tokico allumina ajustable shocks" [comes as a package system].

I had a good test run so far on the track with a 180km which is as fast as the limit of the computer will allow. Though I qm not interested in top speed but getting there in as short of time is my aim. the question is HOW with out the use of "nitrous !!!"

Any ideas on a camshaft ?., I have touring with the idae of a swap to the H22A engine but this intails too mush work conversion. Hell al I want is a HOT STREET machine in the form of a station wagon.

5th gen wagons are mechanically identical for USA, Japan, and Hong Kong market at least. I've verified that with my own eyes.

For cam shafts, try Crower or Crane cams. but with a too aggressive profile, you'll have to sacrifice the idling.

I'd suggest don't mess with nitrous unless you are sure what you are dealing with.

In the old days one can go to Crane cams and purchase a ..... mild street, hot street etc., I wold not have a clue as to what to ask for.

A medium to hot street is my guess, low end to mid range torque should be the way to go. I e-mail em and see what comes back........... Mike4
