dude are u kidding me...open header will make u bog so bad tryna get out of the hole. u wanna have a nice balance between back pressure and free flow. depending if ur running a stock h22. the best thing to do for a stock h22 is get headers at 2.25 and matching cat back exhaust with 2.25 piping to a resonator and a canister. go 2.5 and ull loose alota torque but gain high end. but the fact ur stock ull need that torque to help u get out the hole

So I take it that running an open header is only applicable if your hauling ***, and your pushing so much through that the back pressure caused by the exhuast is harmful to performance? Or am i still way off

on a plain stock h22 u want some back pressure. itll supply u with torque. lower end to help u get those killa launches. im thinking with a drag ef hatch light weight hp will help alot. so hmm.....the best thing is to get a free flow muffler or cannister or even just chop or unbolt ur axle back if possible. leaving ur cat still in. that might do soem good. but yeah open header on a stock h22 wont do much for u getting out the hole. U wanna cut down ur 60' s as much as u can
